Livagen research

What published studies found for Livagen: 12 papers, 0 in humans, with sample sizes and key results.

D
Little or no evidence
Why: Almost entirely cell studies (cultured lymphocytes, liver tissue) with a single rat study; no clinical outcomes in people or animals.

Livagen (the tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala) has been studied mainly by Russian and Georgian groups in cultured lymphocytes from elderly people and patients, where it decondenses chromatin and reactivates ribosomal genes, plus some rat liver and enzyme work. These are laboratory measurements on cells rather than clinical trials, and no study reports a health outcome in people.

✓ 8 positive~ 2 mixed? 2 inconclusive

No clinical trials; the human-derived data are laboratory measurements on cultured cells, so there is no human safety data.

US compounding: Not compoundable. Not an FDA-approved drug and not nominated for FDA's 503A bulks list, so US pharmacies can't legally compound it. Status for every peptide.
