Mazdutide: questions people ask
What is Mazdutide?
Dual GLP-1 / glucagon receptor agonist. Combines appetite reduction from GLP-1 with the energy-expenditure effect of glucagon-receptor activation; studied for obesity and type 2 diabetes.
How much does Mazdutide cost?
The cheapest Mazdutide from an independently tested vendor is $1.80 per mg (Andy Peps Studio, MAZ5 Mazdutide 5mg * 10 vials, $90.00). Across 32 listings from 22 vendors the median is $3.50 per mg.
Where can I buy Mazdutide?
22 vendors tested by Finnrick sell Mazdutide. The cheapest per mg right now: Andy Peps Studio ($1.80), Baohua Dongnuo Biotechnology BHD ($1.80), LN Peptides ($1.80). 3 of them publish a lab report (COA) for Mazdutide; compare lab scores and reports in the table above before buying.
How much bacteriostatic water for 10 mg of Mazdutide?
Adding 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to a 10 mg vial of Mazdutide gives 5 mg/mL: each 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe holds 500 mcg. With 1 mL it's 10 mg/mL (1,000 mcg per 10 units); with 3 mL, 3.333 mg/mL (333.3 mcg per 10 units). More water makes small amounts easier to measure. Mixing charts: 5 mg, 10 mg, 12 mg.
Is Mazdutide FDA approved?
Approved in China in 2025 (Innovent). Not approved in the US.
Can Mazdutide be compounded in the US?
Not an FDA-approved drug and not nominated for FDA's 503A bulks list, so US pharmacies can't legally compound it. Compounding status for every peptide.
Does Mazdutide work? What does the research say?
Evidence grade A (strong human evidence), from 7 papers: Three phase 3 RCTs and several phase 2 RCTs (over 2,000 Chinese adults) consistently show weight and blood-sugar improvements. Mazdutide (a GLP-1/glucagon dual agonist) has consistent results from several placebo- and active-controlled human RCTs, including three phase 3 trials, showing about 11-14% weight loss at 48 weeks in obesity and better blood-sugar control than dulaglutide in type 2 diabetes; nearly all trials were done in Chinese adults and run 48 weeks or less. See the papers.
